David remembers well his first public speech; he was so nervous his legs shook and he spoke so quickly that people couldn’t understand what he was saying. With mentoring and coaching things changed.
David has been involved in public speaking for over 40 years. He has spoken competitively and won Impromptu and After Dinner speaking competitions at state levels.
During his formal working career David spoke at numerous conferences at state, national and international level, he also attributes a lot of success in management and leadership roles to the ability to communicate effectively. He has lectured in public speaking, MCed weddings, chaired public rallies and adjudicated speaking competitions. His passion and sole focus is helping people communicate confidently and effectively when making a speech or giving a presentation through one-to-one coaching sessions.
